High fructose

F90 HFCS

High-fructose syrup with fructose about 90% of dry solids (industry-standard definition); sweeter than sucrose, suited to sugar-reduction formulas and blended sweetener bases, and also used for moisture retention and colour development in bakery.

Chinese version

Pinqing high-fructose syrup - for sugar-reduction formulas and blended sweetener bases

Features

  • High sweetness: less dosage than sucrose for the same sweetness, enabling sugar reduction
  • Synergy: blends well with high-intensity sweeteners
  • Moisture retention helps slow bakery staling
  • Readily enters Maillard reactions for colour and flavour (process control required)
  • Good fermentability: directly utilizable by yeast
  • Cool-sweetness: sweeter as temperature falls below 40℃, giving fuller sweetness in cold drinks
  • Humectancy and crystallisation resistance: helps retain moisture and inhibit sucrose crystallisation in confectionery and bakery
  • High osmotic pressure: helps inhibit microbial growth and extend shelf life

Applications

Food and beverage scenarios suited to F90 HFCS (dosage to be validated by trial)

  • Reduced-sugar beverages: target sweetness at lower dosage

  • Functional & sports drinks: rapidly available carbohydrate

  • Blended sweetener bases with high-intensity sweeteners or erythritol

  • Bakery: moisture, colour and flavour (dosage validated by trial)

  • Dairy & frozen desserts: mouthfeel and anti-crystallization

  • Jams & fillings: flavour lift and moisture retention

  • Carbonated and fruit drinks: high sweetness for partial sucrose replacement and cost reduction

  • Ice cream and frozen desserts: enhances cold sweetness and crystallisation resistance

  • Jams, preserves and bakery fillings: improves humectancy and texture

Specifications

Basis of data: Fructose content, dry solids and physicochemical limits below follow GB/T 20882.4-2021 (Starch sugar and sugar alcohol quality requirements — Part 4: High fructose syrup), high-fructose (F90) grade; contaminant limits follow GB 2762. Relative sweetness is a reference value varying with temperature and matrix. Health-related statements are not claims of disease prevention or treatment.

FAQ

Common questions on specification basis, application and commercial terms

Answered product questions

Is the F90 fructose figure a measured Pinqing value?

No. The ≥90% figure is the standard and industry definition of the high-fructose grade (share of dry solids), not a single-batch measurement. Pinqing F90 is produced to fructose ≥90%, fructose + glucose ≥95%, dry solids ≥75%, pH 3.3–4.5, colour ≤50 RBU and transmittance ≥96%, with a batch test report available.

Is F90 suitable for sugar-reduction formulas?

Yes. F90 is sweeter than sucrose, so dosage can be reduced. Blending with high-intensity sweeteners or erythritol helps balance the sweetness curve and body; validate by trial.

Can it be used in bakery?

Yes. F90 retains moisture and readily participates in Maillard reactions for colour and flavour, but dosage and baking parameters should be validated by trial.

What are the MOQ and lead time?

MOQ for customization and private label is generally 1 ton; lead time is agreed based on production scheduling and logistics.

Can you provide COA and export certificates?

Yes. A batch COA is supplied, together with MUI Halal, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP and ISO 22000 certificates and the export food production enterprise filing.
